Information collected

What the site does not ask for

  • Historia Medica does not provide visitor accounts.
  • The site does not ask for names, email addresses, or payment details.
  • The site does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.

Analytics

Usage measurement

The site uses Google Analytics property G-25ZR8GGFB2 to understand general traffic patterns and identify useful records, navigation problems, and gaps in the collection.

For visitors detected in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, or Switzerland, analytics remains blocked until the visitor accepts it. Visitors can reject analytics and continue using the complete website. Elsewhere, analytics loads by default unless a previous rejection is stored. If regional detection fails, analytics remains blocked and the privacy choice is shown.

Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation, and Google Signals remain disabled when analytics is enabled. Historia Medica does not currently load advertising scripts.

Browser storage

Remembering your choice

If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Historia Medica stores your analytics choice, consent-policy version, and the time saved in local browser storage for up to 180 days.

The Privacy settings control in the footer reopens the choice. Rejecting after analytics was enabled changes the consent state, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page without Analytics.

Regional check

How location is detected

The regional check requests Cloudflare's same-origin diagnostic endpoint and reads its two-letter country result. Historia Medica does not store that result. Cloudflare already handles site requests as the delivery and security provider.

External services

Other organisations

When analytics is enabled, analytics information is sent to Google. Some pages also link to external historical resources controlled by their own operators. Read the Google Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
